The property is located on the northern tip of the island, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Its main features are the slight gradient, the vivid natural flora, the direct relationship with the sea and the exposure to the natural elements.

The design brief called for two independent equivalent dwellings. The proposal arranges the dwellings on two levels: an undercut (with the biophilic benefits offered by the basement) and an above-ground, which comes in contact with the horizon and the natural environment. The undercut sections mainly consist of the guesthouses, while the communal living areas are placed above ground.

The goal was for the building composition to not impose itself on the landscape, leaving it as intact as possible.
