2020 – 2023
This new residence is inspired by the wing construction that is often encountered in monasteries as well as in agricultural buildings in the Cyclades.
The square plot is ideal for the almost symmetrical organization of the space.
The main functions are placed along the perimeter: the bedrooms, the living room, and the kitchen with the dining room, all of which are connected to each other with pergolas. The central courtyard comprises the swimming pool and, in combination with the pergolas surrounding it, hosts the communal outdoor activities of the residents. The rooms do not connect on the inside and instead communicate with each other through this courtyard, from the outside. Each room has its own private terrace overlooking the outdoor area.
