The proposal is about redesigning an existing building which is occupied by a store, a workshop and the storage facilities of a confectionery. The existing building evolved gradually as the business expanded, never allowing the time for a comprehensive design.

The proposal involves both the interior spaces as well as the shell of the building. The perimeter balconies are removed, the openings are reorganized according to the intended uses and the electro-mechanical installations are properly arranged.

The facade is lined with bricks and a small extension is added to accommodate an area for prepared meals and food tastings.
