The site is located on a distinct peninsula in the southwestern tip of the island of Skiathos.

In the 1970s, a study was carried out on its residential and tourist development, which is now however extremely outdated in many respects.

The attempt made here was to explore a feasible scenario, which, taking into consideration both the overall footprint of a large-scale intervention and the small specificities of the area, would offer a unique type of hospitality, without eradicating the characteristics of the location.

The brief involved the construction of residential complexes, without boundaries between the plots, under a common management, with varying densities, joint activities and infrastructure, and with the involvement of the entire island (olive oil mills, pottery workshops, grocery stores and processing of native species, weaving and other local handicraft skills workshops, and much more).
