2020 – 2021

The property is located on a major highway linking downtown Athens with the airport. The area consists of purely residential buildings, public buildings and extensive green spaces.

The design brief involves the creation of office spaces, meeting rooms, reception and communal areas, as well as all the necessary supporting facilities. The proposal is inspired by the orbits of the electron [e-]. It is this circular movement that characterizes the building’s basic organization: a perimeter corridor connects all functions on each floor. An interior garden, consisting of smaller patios and protected from external nuisances, is created. The interior view of the building is transparent and open to the interior garden, in contrast to the exterior which is shaded with wooden blinds.

Biophilic principles were followed during the design phase, and both LEED and WELL standards were applied.
