2018 – 2019

Alimos Marina is the largest Marina in Greece, and one of the largest in the eastern Mediterranean. Because of its size and location, it is regarded as an essential part of the Athenian sea front.

The aim of the Marina’s refurbishment study was to give it a new identity through a variety and complementarity of uses, to give an added value to the space, to highlight the sea front as a key component of the city and to promote a comprehensive and visionary intervention plan – from a functional, environmental, aesthetic and business point of view.

At the same time the proposed refurbishment aims to bring it to the latest international standards and establish it as a leisure destination for tourists and locals alike.
