Pavlos Aravantinos began his academic journey in engineering, earning degrees from Birmingham University (UK) and EIGSI – école d’ingénieurs in La Rochelle (France). He further advanced his expertise with a Masterod Science (MSc) in Engineering from Cardiff University (Wales). Driven by a longstanding passion for design and the built environment he transitioned from engineering to architecture, pursuing formal studies in architecture at the University of Thessaly (Greece). This unique combination of engineering and architectural education has endowed him with a rare interdisciplinary perspective, allowing him to approach architectural design with both technical rigor and creative vision.
Pavlos honed his architectural skills in a professional setting as an Associate Senior Architect at TPA Inc., where his dedication and leadership quickly led to his appointment as a Partner in the firm. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for blending innovative design concepts with structural precision, delivering projects that are both aesthetically compelling and functionally robust.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Pavlos is an avid adventurer and craftsman. He enjoys hang gliding and windsurfing, activities that reflect his love for freedom and exploration, as well as woodworking, through which he channels his appreciation for materials, form, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Konstantios Daskalakis studied architecture at the NTUA (Athens), then he received his DEA en philosophie et cultrure from ULB (Brussels), with scholarship from Michelis Foundation, and his PhD in Philosophy (Heidegger Metaphysics of time) from the same University, with scholarship from the Onassis Foundation.
He is practicing architecture since he was 16 (in his father’s office).
He likes yoga and reading.
dace workshop (d.a.c.e = daskalakis – aravantinos creative evolution) is an Athens based architectural practice.
Creative evolution ( L’ Évolution créatrice, Henri Bergson) is an indirect allusion to the modernist spirit as Proust, Thomas Mann, William and Henry James expressed it.
